Which social platforms should I use?
In short: it depends. Facebook is typically a great starting point. However, we like to get to know each client better on an individual basis. Every brand is unique. Deciding which platform(s) to spend time on relies on factors such as what products or services your business provides, where your audience is, and the targeted goals you wish to achieve. S & Y Digital Marketing is adept at creating successful social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn and can even provide some alternative platforms like TikTok, and Pinterest.
Which social media platforms are best for targeting my product?
Again, it really depends. However, here are some exciting demographics that, in general, fall true:
Facebook is typically enjoyed by a variety of ages. Users aged 18-49 use it the most, and women typically check Facebook more than men.
People usually check Twitter for news, trending topics, or to keep up with brands they’re interested in. Young adults ages 18-29 are engaged Twitter users. Twitter is one of the few social platforms where there are more male users.
Instagram is an effective social network for businesses with products or services that can be captured in a compelling photo or video. The primary Instagram users are 35 years old or younger, and there are more women on this network than men.
Pinterest is similar to Instagram in that it is very visual. Women are more active on Pinterest than men, and this platform has the most extensive age range with a relatively equal distribution between ages 18-64.
How do I get more followers?
This is probably one of the most frequently asked questions we get. Quality and quantity have a major difference when it comes to social media marketing. Posting frequent updates requesting people to follow you or bring more followers is usually not a recipe for success. It may be enticing to "buy" followers, but it's not a viable one. Paid followers do not typically engage well with the content and are also not loyal.
It's best to focus on driving engagement by delivering high-quality content to the right people at the right time. Viral posts are viral because they are usually creative and unique, causing your followers to voluntarily share and promote your company or brand.
